Blogging Tips For Writer’s Block

by shaunjudy on

Writer's Block Have you ever been struck with writer’s block?

In this post I am going to give you some simple tips to get you back to blogging.

I am pretty sure you can get unstuck by using these steps. Hey how do you think I wrote this post?

1) Check your archives

How many post do you have on your blog? Do you think anyone has read all of your post?  Chances are good that they have not.  So digg though them and find a post with no comments, and change the date on it.

2) Read Comments

Check the comments on your blog and others in your niche. You will be amazed how many ideas you can come up with. It gives you an insight of what the readers want.

3) Twitter

This is one of my favorite ways to get a topic. Just read some of the topics that are being micro-blogged. I am sure the light bulb will go off, once you read all those tweets.

4) Surf Other Blogs

Wow! With billions of blogs on the net, new topics happen every second. You could end up finding a new press release or the latest gossip in your niche.  Use  Google or Technorati to search for your keyword.

5) Use Google Alerts

Set up Google alerts for your niche. A topic will come up in no time. Trust me it will.  As a bonus while you are at it set one up for your name and domain.

If you can think of any other tips for writer’s block, feel free to post them in the comments section.
